Gilbarco Screened Image Display

Problem
No displays on Power Up.
    Solution 1
Turn power on, wait up to 15 minutes. This allows the display heaters enough time to warm the displays to operational temperatures.

    Solution 2
If, after the warm up period, there is no display illumination, replace the pico fuse on the regulator board (T15857-G1) or replace the regulator board.
Gilbarco MPD3 (Screened Image Display Only) Software Versions; 50.X to 53.X

Problem
No communication with one or more dispeners at start up.
    Solution 1
In the distribution box, isolate the dispenser or dispensers not communicating with console. Insert (P-803) master reset connector into the 803 connection point of the main display in the dispenser. Power down, press "clear", press "enter". power up and remove master reset connector. Displays should read "0's" at this point. Reprogram the dispenser address, conversion factor and two-wire. Restore the distribution box switch to the normal position. Console should acknowledge communication loop with the dispenser.

    Solution 2
Perform master reset on all dispensers at the site. Insure all dispensers have the two-wire identification programmed. Check fuse on console two-wire board, if ok, perform master rest on the console. Bring one dispenser at a time on-line with the console. Console SHOULD acknowledge the communication loop with each dispenser. The console cannot function correctly if more than one dispenser is programmed to the same two-wire identification.
All Multi-Product Dispensing Systems

Problem
Relay boards blow relays when two or more handles on different dispensers are raised on the same product!
    Solution 1
Check system wiring for cross-phase. Insure all dispensers are on the same side of the phase.

    Solution 2
If no cross-phasing ID found, check polarity of ac-hot and ac-common at each dispenser. Insure all dispensers match in the wiring scheme.

    Solution 3
Perform meggar test on all conductors in conduit. Check between each conductor and check each conductor to ground.
